ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. It demonstrates the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements based on the plan-do-check-act methodology. As an ISO accredited company, external audits from an independent assessor are carried out annually.

At eRecruitSmart we are immensely proud to be one of the only holders of the ISO 9001:2015 standard in the recruitment industry. As far as we are aware we are also the only flat fee recruitment business in the UK to do so.


Not only does this prove our professional approach to working within the online recruitment industry, but also highlights our commitment to quality and improving our customers experience with us.

ISO is the International Organisation for Standardisation. This independent and non-governmental organisation provides world-class specifications on products, services and systems, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency across the board.


By achieving any ISO standard a business proves that it maintains an accepted and high level of operations. Their standards are accepted across the globe as a stamp of authority and they are widely desired in international markets. Achieving ISO standardisation is popular in many quality led industries including engineering and IT.


At eRecruitSmart we hold the ISO 9001:2015 standard for quality management systems. To achieve this standard we were required to:


  1. Demonstrate our ability to consistently provide online recruitment services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

  2. Prove that we are committed to improving customer satisfaction through the effective application of systems. This included process improvement and assurance of conformity to customer, statutory and regulatory requirements.    


Commitment to Quality


However lovely the certificate looks framed on the wall of our office, that isn’t the only reason we undertook the vigorous audit process required to achieve it.


We understand that for many businesses outsourcing recruitment can be a daunting process, with some in the industry giving it a bad name. That is why we decided to pursue achieving ISO 9001:2015, as a way to prove our professionalism and give our customers and potential customers confidence in our ability.


Holding this standard reinforces our commitment to helping our customers achieve their recruitment goals in a way which is accepted as best practice. As a large part of achieving the ISO standard requires proof of continuous improvement, it also assures customers that we are constantly seeking to better our services in their best interests.


For us, holding the ISO 9001:2015 standard is just a small but crucial part of our constant pursuit to deliver consistent, quality and lasting results for our customers.
