- Computer arithmetic / IO organisation / Multiprocessors
This test is to check candidates’ knowledge of computer system architecture. Computer system architecture deals with internal hardware components. It tests the knowledge of how the hardware works inside a computer and what is required to run the hardware.
The test assesses knowledge of the computer's internal organisation, such as digital logic gates, flip flops, registers, and counters. It focuses on how the data is stored in the computer internally, how to troubleshoot the hardware, and how the hardware manipulates data.
The test also assesses knowledge of how instructions are executed inside the processor and how the processor coordinates with the rest of the components. The test is for intermediate level test takers who may wish to study computer hardware in detail and troubleshoot the various parts of the system.
